How the Tour Works

Departure

Board a fast and comfortable boat from the harbor and head out to sea to begin your whale watching adventure.

Choose between three daily departures:

09:00 / 11:30 / 14:30

Our experienced captains and crew will welcome you on board and explain the safety procedures before departure.

 The Whale Areas

Cruise along the beautiful coastline of Boa Vista as the captain navigates between the best whale sighting areas.

During the journey, the crew shares information about marine wildlife and the different whale species that migrate through the waters of Cape Verde.

The Main Experience

Keep your eyes on the ocean as the captain searches for whales in the distance.

When a whale surfaces, you will have the chance to admire its powerful movements, tail splashes and spectacular jumps.

This unforgettable moment is the highlight of the excursion.

Return to Shore

After approximately three hours at sea, the boat returns to the harbor.

Enjoy the scenic view of the ocean and coastline as you head back to shore with unforgettable memories.
